Hello from Carlo Felice team!
July 4, 2016
Dear Reader, Dear Customer!
My name is Katherine and I am the founder of Carlo Felice Ltd. I feel extremely privileged and delighted to be writing this post today, as from now on I will be regularly sharing the journey of building Carlo Felice brand with you. Life is for sharing, as they say, and I truly believe that in order to build a sustainable business, grow and develop on a professional and personal level, and essentially be happy, one needs to connect with others. After all, we are all such social creatures!
So who is Carlo Felice, and what do we offer?
The brand came to life in 2015, but the idea has been on my mind for years. I am a very conscious buyer, and coming from a family of dressmakers and tailors, I have developed a particular drive for quality, simplicity and elegance when it comes to what I wear. However, as internet took over the world in the late 1990s, we soon became a global consumer village, and as a result, I also feel companies like Zara, Mango, H&M and other mass-production fashion brands secured monopoly over the market; I find it much harder to come across quality garments that last you for years, and the customer had to turn to the ”fast-food clothing” and once worn a few times, they can only serve you well in a bin or waste-of-space at the bottom of your wardrobe.
From the huge environmental footprint those clothes have when ultimately frown away, to the human capital, resources, artificial fabrics, cost and waste involved in the production of the clothes- I am against that vicious circle.
So… the brand of Carlo Felice was born.
Actually, the fundamental rule we set when Carlo Felice was founded is that the brand stands for natural fabrics, such as silk, natural leather, organic cotton, wool, linen, and responsible production process- we use top European suppliers and manufacturers to produce our collections. That way, we contribute to reducing the carbon footprint, as our fabrics are natural and easily return to the environment when recycled, and we make sure our partners are paid a fair price for their work.
Plus that name… CARLO FELICE…
Yep, it is Italian…
but more about the name in my upcoming blogs!
To sum up, Carlo Felice promotes elegant and timeless designs, our products will be made of natural fabrics and offered in limited quantities, but above all- prepared with highest quality and attention to detail.
With that in mind, I hope I have encouraged you to discover our upcoming Carlo Felice womenswear collection and that you will consider the content of this blog next time you’re purchasing a new piece for your wardrobe.
From nature with Love…
